Fair Warning

My absolute favorite Van Halen album, featuring the quintessential VH song, Unchained. This song has everything I love about this band: Eddie’s chugging, flanged rhythm guitar, Roth’s humor, and Alex’s odd-timing drums. From the amazing tapped intro to Mean Street, through the awakening monster sounds of Sunday Afternoon in the Park, there’s not a wasted moment on this whole album. Complete perfection.
